At UC behind the Dorms
I am alone and traveling to the University of Canberra in Australia for a Semester! I am usually not someone who likes to be in front of a computer very long telling my whole life story or commenting and lurking on people's facebook! ha! Buttt...since I do like to conserve paper and not act like a 13 with a journal! I want to tell all about my Aussie adventures! I am not here to be your travel agent! I am here to get you away from Jersey Shore and live with me as a traveling kangAroo!

New Zealand!!
So I will also make a list for this adventure because there are just events that cannot be missed! But first..."ChristChurch Earthquake" should never again be referenced in a Barbara Streisan song again! Too SOON!
1. Christchurch Airport:
Once landing in New Zealand and screaming of happiness to see the third soulmate Dana...I realized I was freezing cold. We had the pleasure of sleeping at the airport because the city has no where for us to stay and it was pointless spending money. The night began with story time where Dana decided to play her favorite game..Homewrecking! As we listened....I was preparing to buy food and take a shower. I did neither, instead I tried to fall asleep on a hard floor, with no blankets or pillow. As I slept for 5 minutes...I woke up to incoming flights where the asian community decided to bring all there noodle cups and open them at the same time. It was great fun (sarcasm is kicking in). I ended up just getting my clothes and running to a hot shower. I will give a lot of credit to that airport because the showers are great! They were even better than my hostel ones...(I will get to that later). I went to buy breakfast and to my surprise their cafe was the BEST EVER! I literally almost did not care I had to sleep on the "concrete" floor of that place!
I am going to talk about the airport on the way back because I had to sleep over once again. It was great with the food again...but Brokeback Mountain is probably not an appropriate movie to be playing at the airport.
-You are probably wondering if I saw any of the earthquake through the city...I did. But the intense stuff was hidden behind gates. My thoughts and prayers do go out to those who lost family members...

2. Day one/ Base Hostel
I was ready and excited to go to a real bed after an uncomfortable ride on the bus. Once we walked in, we were in hopes of having great roommates in a 8 bedroom dorm. We walked in and saw cute guys...so we were a bit enthusiatic....and we thought the two other girls were the bitches because they did not talk much. To our surprise....we were completely wrong! Our 3 boy roommates were from Sweden (which by the way after that experience they made me hate that country) and they decided to start our encounter by insulting Canadian people...meaning...Kate and Dana! After a second try at the club where I tried to be nice (I was also a bit hammered) they decided later that night to bring girls home. I forgot to mention all three had bottom bunks and we were all on the top! I fortunately was drunk enough to sleep through the moans and shaking of beds the first night. Yes...I said...the first night! The one swedish boy sleeping under Kate decided to bring a girl home everynight! I was not fortunate enough to sleep through the next two nights! But to my surprise we had a Saint! Jen! She was our other girl roommate who decided to speak up in her wonderful English accent and tell them to "hurry up" or "shut the hell up!"
After her great help, all us girls actually had Girl Power haha
I do have to talk to about this hostel because people may read this and possibly stay there! lol The place is great and they help you a lot if you have questions of how to get around and etc. The internet is expensive but the worst part about this place...are...the showers!!!! Dana took the first shower and after she told me that I will want to sock myself everytime the water stopped. If that really happened..I would be in the hospital...thats all
Day 2
This day we had nothing planned so we decided to go up the Skyline and Luge down some scenery. As we were at the top Kate decided to make a joke about hating me because I am from America to a Texan Couple. That was definitely the highlight of my day! We also ate a Fergburger...HUGE BURGERS! We had some time to go to an Ice Bar called Minus 5...and last but not least...we Parasailed. The parasailing was fun as we got to do a tangem and we sailed with some guy named Rock and SQUID (he is the important one) along with their two cute dogs. Oh Squid...mind you...he is 27 with that name lol. Squidard was chatting with us and convincing us that we should strip for his bachelor for 300dollars. Instead we told him to hit the bar crawl we were attending the following day! It was a nice day...
Day 3
Bungy Jump and Pub Crawl
We decided to keep the night before calm because we had to get ready to jump off of a bridge the following day! Yay (me shaking). Kate and Dana had discovered that we could possibly jump all three! BUT Dana wanted her pictures to look cool and she wanted to do it alone. ha ( she is going to kill me for writing that down) So me and Kate decided we were jumping together because I was literally going to vomit or pee my pants if i had to do it alone. Finally it was the day to jump and Dana was having second thoughts about her decision. As we got off the bus and closer to the jumping point she no longer wanted to do it alone. We asked the man who was very critical of our many questions if we could jump all together. He said no. So Dana was set to sail free on her own adventures jump.
Needless to say, Dana was freaking out and taking forever to jump because she started crying....I was trying to remember why I agreed to this in the first place. When it was mine and Kate's turn...lets just say..I had a strong grip on her sweatshirt.
PS. Its NOT free if you want to jump Naked
Next up is the best night ever!!! Well for stories anyways.
I will not go into detail as some things should never be repeated and I will not say who did what or in what order....

TILL NEXT TIME...
Sydney!
Get ready people! These blogs will have a lot of information because so much went on that my brain cant even handle!!!! So...I will have to make one of my famous list!!
1. Mardi Gras!
I decided to head to Sydney for the Mardi Gras parade. If you live anywhere but in Australia, you would think it's a party with beads, masks, and crazy outfits. You would be correct about all and add on the Fabolous GAYS!!!! The streets are blocked off early in the day and over half a million people are walking around, drinking, dancing, and taking pictures. Now in my usual customs, parades happen in the day...but Mardi Gras is all about the night time glory. The parade is filled with every gender dressed in god knows what and people shoving to get a look at the tranny whipping her carriage! My experience was probably not the greatest because I was shoving through people just to get a small look at the parade. Once I found my way into a gap with Kate, we found out that there is a reason for that gap. There was an insufferable man who would not stop trying to touch me and Kate, and at one point he decided to throw something in my mouth. Never in my life did I think I would have to tell someone...and i quote..."I dont like boys, and I dont like to drink" ha! Well in the end pub crawling made the rest of the night! Oh George Street how you treat me so great! lol

2. Featherdale
Besides my horrible experience at Mardi Gras, my Sydney Experience was the greatest. I was toured around by one of the greatest friends, Jess! Also I got to stay with her wonderful parents who made the best food! I definitely loved it! and miss it! haha...Anyways, Jess put her bird fear aside and took me and Kate to Featherdale, where you can pet Kangaroos and Koala's. I could not be more excited because the place is small, cheap, and worth every penny. I was excited and cheery while Kate's interpretation of anything exciting is "OMG a KOALA...I AM GOING TO SHIT MY PANTS"
3. Sydney Tour Bus
We had a couple days to spare in Sydney, so what better thing to do than be a complete tourist and get on a double decker bus! I did the Sydney and Bondi tour, where me and Kate were probably the youngest people on every bus...The old couples probably thought WE were a couple! YIKES ha. We roamed around the whole city and also towards Bondi Beach! I do have to say I looooove that beach and the views are amazing. Go THERE if you ever have a chance. We stopped at the Australian Museum, saw Kings Cross about 50 times, Chinatown, Opera House...and oh I completely forgot! Jess took us on a rivercat! haha (ferry) and also to the best Pancake Place in the world!!! I almost shit my pants looking at the food! haha. Anyways, although the Bus may be the most touristy thing one can do! I am definitely doing it AGAIN! We ended up using it again without pay! WHoooHoo! I could go into detail about each place and blah blah but I will just post pictures!
PS. We also went to Luna Park...I wouldn't go there if you can't handle Clowns!
next will be New ZEALAND..stay tuned..

Bateman's Bay!!!!
I apologize for the long wait of exciting Aussie news but I was going through depression. My camera decided to commit suicide while hanging out at the beach two weekends in a row. I blame the evil UV rays....nonetheless...i was SOL with no camera and a bruise on my leg after falling down the stairs at the beach house we rented!
I want to begin with Bateman's Bay fifth grade style. Took a bus and played intro games to a location where there was no sun but fortunately great people. Hung around...did a bit of that...and a bit of this...bought a scrotem kangaroo bag (if my camera worked i would be able to download it!!!! GRRRR) and then went home!
and Now...for the great weekend! It started off with me drinking before the car ride over to the beach house that was rented with a few new friends and of course the soulmates..Kate and Dana. We arrived to the house... thinking we paid for a shit (excuse my french) house on the beach...but was surprised to arrive at a three story building ha! The house was already put to use with some sort of jungle juice...throw up...and people in the jacuzzi! My first thought..." I have to catch up!"
SO began the great drinking games...slippery floor where everyone fell and special shout out to Kate because she managed to fall in way to create a bruise inside her butt! haha...continuing...singing national anthems in a jacuzzi and ending the sunrise watching 300 in a theatre room.
Next came actually going to the beach where it was chill to hang out and watch other foreigners wear small speedos :) The "gang" for lack of a better word ate dinner and had a relax night because LIBBY the real estate had a complaint! PS I have never seen so many people clean a house in less then 10minutes!
Overall just have to say that the beach is great with great people!
Cheers to the Aussie friends

Teagan
Kellie
Trix (silly rabbit)
Murphy

Jon-O "pull over I have to pee" haha (dana dont be a pathy liar...lol)
